Buckner-Superior Introduces 3200NXT with No External Tubing

The Buckner Superior 3200NXT Valve is engineered to ensure consistent and reliable operation on high use irrigation systems.  Featuring a 3-way solenoid design, reliable opening and closing with no minimum flow rate requirements, and sizes from ¾” to 3”, the 3200NXT is the complete solution to minimize valve maintenance costs and maximize performance – now with no external tubing.

Most irrigation valves feature a 2-way solenoid design.  In a standard 2-way solenoid design, water from the upstream side of the valve must continually flow through small ports in the solenoid assembly when the valve is in operation.  This continuous flow through the solenoid allows a greater potential for clogging and premature corrosion, leading to the possibility of increased failure rates.  The 3200NXT valve utilizes a 3-way solenoid design which allows the valve to operate without water continuously flowing through the solenoid, minimizing wear and tear and the potential for clogging.  Given that the master valve is the first valve on the system, a failure means that the entire irrigation system is affected, and the potential then exists for plant material to be adversely impacted.

The majority of valves on the market also require a consistent flow of water through the valve in order to operate.  Even valves that are labeled “low flow” require a measurable flow of water through the valve to allow for correct opening and closing.  The 3200NXT does not require flow through the valve in order to perform opening and closing on command. The valve will open and close, as well as remain open during the entire watering window, independent of flow fluctuations through the valve and through the irrigation system.   This feature is important since many systems combine drip irrigation and landscape irrigation, and/or operating multiple zone valves at the same time, resulting in highly fluctuating flow rates through the system.

The 3200NXT will continue to offer these same benefits and performance – and now without any external tubing!
