Used with battery-operated controllers. The controller sends a pulse lasting a few milli-seconds to lift the solenoid plunger.
A magnet fastened to the bottom of the latching solenoid assembly keeps the plunger in raised position. To close the valve, the controller sends another pulse with reverse polarity.
The DC Latching Solenoid will have one black wire for the common wire and one red wire for the station wire.
